How submitted information, professional preferences, and guideline-reference queries are handled.

Policy last reviewed: 20 August 2026

What is collected

The activity proposal form collects the information required to review a proposed professional activity, including contact and organiser details provided by the submitter.

Guideline-reference queries

The English unified Guidelines search runs deterministically in the browser against the prepared source record set and does not send typed questions to an AI provider or use them to train a model. The optional Arabic AI-assisted source finder, where used, receives a general non-patient query only to route it to approved record identifiers; it cannot generate clinical advice, retrieve documents, or publish content. Do not enter patient-identifiable information, case details, doses, or diagnostic requests in either search.

Retention and local history

Saved guidelines, catalog-search recents, and recent reference questions are stored in the current browser and can be cleared there. The server does not store raw unmatched guideline questions; it may retain a keyed, de-identified unmatched-query signal with guideline selection, language, length band, and aggregate count to identify coverage gaps. Standard security and operational logs may retain technical request information for the period necessary to protect and operate the service; typed English unified-search text is not included in that signal.

Analytics and providers

Typed guideline-reference text is not used for advertising or behavioural profiling. If aggregate site analytics are enabled by the deployment, they measure general service performance and audience activity rather than the content of guideline queries. Third-party publisher links open on the publisher’s site and are governed by that publisher’s privacy terms.

Updates interest

If you opt in to community updates, the platform stores your email address, selected language, consent, and subscription status. The platform does not promise a fixed email schedule, and email delivery will begin only after a verified sending channel is activated.

How it is used

Submitted information is used for moderation and follow-up on a proposed activity. Consented email interests may be used only for Iraq Cardiology Community professional updates. A submission is not published automatically.

Data minimisation

Please do not submit patient-identifying information or unnecessary sensitive data. The platform maintains access controls, audit logging, and recovery safeguards for editorial records.
