2024 ESC elevated blood pressure and hypertension guideline

For most adults receiving blood-pressure-lowering treatment, a systolic blood-pressure target of 120–129 mmHg is recommended when treatment is tolerated; the guideline presents 70–79 mmHg as the accompanying on-treatment diastolic target range.
