2022 AHA/ACC/HFSA heart failure guideline
For selected advanced HFrEF patients with NYHA class IV symptoms who depend on continuous intravenous inotropes or temporary mechanical circulatory support, durable LVAD implantation is effective to improve functional status, quality of life, and survival.
