2025 AHA/ACC high blood pressure guideline
For adults with hypertension without clinical cardiovascular disease who have diabetes, chronic kidney disease, or a PREVENT 10-year cardiovascular risk of at least 7.5%, blood-pressure-lowering medication is recommended when average blood pressure is at least 130/80 mmHg.
